I've been wearing these to work every day for about a month and nobody's realised they're motorcycle boots. They're comfortable enough to leave on all day and I don't have to carry a spare pair of shoes anymore. Exactly what I was looking for.
I used to ride in whatever trainers I had on and just hoped for the best. These solved that problem. They look normal enough to wear anywhere but I know I've actually got proper protection on the bike. Comfortable, solid and they've become my go-to boots.
Quality of construction and materials is really well done. I've ridden in up to 95+ degree California temps and as long as the bike is moving they're not too warm. You can tell they're breathing and releasing sweat moisture. They are a bit heavy, so if you're going to walk around town you might consider taking out the hip and knee pads to lighten up.
Mid 60's guy riding BMW R1200RT and these are comfortable and sufficiently flexible that they don't bind in my riding position. 3XL, Color coordinates with the bike and they look classy/casual.
It did take a couple weeks for them to arrive in California from overseas.
I wanted something that didn't scream motorcycle boots and these are exactly that. They look like normal high tops but feel much more solid than any trainers I've ridden in. Really impressed.
Ordered 2 pair( large-34 waist), im 6'1" and 185 lbs and they fit perfect. They are really comfortable and I highly recommend. Fast shipping
I’m totally impressed with Ripple Impact Gear!
The jeans were just not me, so I initiated a return. Wow! Love these folks! They made the process so, so straightforward. I’ll for sure be ordering other items from them. Great people.
Really comfortable straight out of the box. Wore them all day at work after riding in and never felt like I needed to change into normal shoes.
i bought the exact same one off temu for $40. great bag
As soon as I opened these cargo pants I noticed two things. High quality and heavy duty. They are more cargo pants than jeans. They fit perfectly except for the length. The hip pads are great but as with my other riding jeans, the knee pads are in front of my shins. I'm short. But they don't come in a 28 inch or even 30 inch length. The 32 inch waste of the medium is just right. First time I wore them it was warm (100°)and they were comfortable breathing better than regular jeans. The only problem I had was when I hit the brakes hard I slid forward on the seat to the tank. I think I need to wash them first and maybe they won't be so slick. But they are really well made. There's a zipper, a snap and a button to fasten the waste. All of the many (8+) pockets have snaps on them that are easy to use even with gloves. They just feel good when you wear them
The amount of protection packed into these is impressive. Nice and supportive around the ankle without feeling bulky, and they still look great with jeans.
My size was out of stock and I contacted RIPPL about when they would be back in stock. They responded immediately with options and no hassles to any decision. I opted to wait it out and finally received them. They were worth the wait! These fit me perfectly and are super comfortable even riding in 85 degree weather. I never want to know if they will perform in an incident, but I am certainly confident they will, just buy them!!
Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted proper riding boots without looking like I was about to head to a race track.
Had a low-speed spill in the wet and the bike ended up pinning my foot underneath. The boot took the abuse and apart from a few scuffs, it did exactly what I'd hoped it would. My foot was absolutely fine. Made me realise how different things could've been if I'd been riding in normal trainers.
Just got mine by mail and tried them on to find a perfect fit. Armor is well located and the overall quality is superb. I used their sizing chart and they fit perfectly. Thanks so much for a quality product!
Hi, the first one is fantastic an i would like to order one more now, but they they stopped delivry service to Luxemburg, why????
The quality is obvious as soon as you pick them up. They feel properly built and much more substantial than any riding trainers I've owned.
Been wearing these pretty much every ride since they arrived. Comfortable on the bike, comfortable walking around afterwards and nobody's realised they're motorcycle boots.
I was surprised how supportive they feel around the ankle. You can tell there's proper protection in there, but they don't feel heavy.
I spend as much time off the bike as I do on it, so I wanted something I could leave on all day. These have been perfect.
The dial fastening is brilliant. Much quicker than tying laces and it keeps everything snug without needing readjusting.
After years of riding in trainers I finally bought proper riding boots. Wish I'd done it sooner.
They're one of those products that's even better in person. They look smart, feel solid and are surprisingly comfortable.
Bought a pair, 2nd time wearing had an accident hit a concrete embankment went over the side. jeans shredded, Kevlar intact, saved me from much worse injuries, will definitely be getting another pair as soon as I heal and save up some funds. Thank you for such great quality!
I've had a few people ask where I bought my trainers. They were surprised when I said they're actually motorcycle boots.
I didn't want big touring boots. These give me the protection I wanted without looking over the top.
